Welcome to something a little different, I was attracted to this picture by the sunrise/sunset and the silhouette of the angler in the foreground, then the idea came to me, I had an old split cane rod with a few eyes missing and a wooden relly, why not put it round the outside of the frame, that will be interesting, it really lifted the picture. I have tried to find out more about the artist JJ Burchett, I know he lived locally until the early 1980's and was a bit of a recluse, that's all I know, the picture is painted on a board which has warped over the years but the colours are still bright. If you're a fisherman or just interested in being different this could be for you.
